Terms of Service

These terms describe what you can expect from AI Nutrition and what we expect from you. Using the app means you accept them. They are intentionally plain.

01 The agreement

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Discretelogix ("we", "us"). They apply to the AI Nutrition mobile application, this website, and any related services (together, the "Service"). If you do not agree to the Terms, do not use the Service.

02 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and old enough under your local law to enter into a binding contract. If you are using the Service on behalf of another person, you confirm you have their permission and authority.

03 Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity under your account.
• You will give us accurate information when creating an account and keep it current.
• You may not share your account, sell access to it, or impersonate someone else.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to harm other users, or attempt to compromise the system.

04 How analysis works

You submit a photograph of a supplement label and a snapshot of the profile you've chosen to provide. The Service sends those to an AI model (currently OpenAI's GPT-4o Vision) which returns a nutrient breakdown. We then store the analysis and surface it inside the app.

Analyses are opinions of a model, not measurements. They may misread the label, miscalculate a percentage, or be wrong about a nutrient. By using the Service you accept this limitation and agree that you will not rely on the output for medical, dosage, or treatment decisions.

05 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit content you don't have the right to use.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or impersonate other people.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, scrape it at scale, or interfere with its operation.
• Use the Service to create or train a competing product without our written permission.
• Submit images that do not depict a supplement label, or attempt to use the model for unrelated purposes.

06 Paid plans

The free tier allows a limited number of analyses each calendar month. A Pro subscription removes that limit and is billed by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat depending on your platform. Subscription renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the rules of the store you purchased through. Cancelling on time prevents renewal but does not refund the current period unless required by law.

07 Intellectual property

The Service, including the app, this website, our trademarks, the underlying code, and the design of the analysis reports, belongs to Discretelogix. You keep ownership of the supplement images you upload and the analyses generated for your account; you grant us a non-exclusive licence to process them for the purpose of operating the Service.

08 Termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app or via the account-deletion form. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm other users or the system. On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

09 Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI output will be accurate.

10 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Discretelogix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or US$50 if you paid us nothing.

11 Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the app or via email to your account address. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
