Privacy Policy
Welcome to AI Nutrition. This policy explains what we collect, where it goes, who we share it with, and how to make all of it disappear. We've kept it short enough to read in one sitting.

01 Who we are
The app is operated by Discretelogix. You can reach a human at support@discretelogix.com. We are the data controller for the information described below.
02 Data we collect
- Account information — email address, hashed password, and optional first and last name.
- Health profile — age, sex assigned at birth, height, weight, and any medical conditions you choose to enter. This is sensitive personal information and you provide it voluntarily so the app can personalise your analyses.
- Supplement label images — photos you take or upload of supplement labels.
- Analysis records — the nutrient breakdowns generated for your account, including the personalised daily-value percentages and AI-generated notes.
- Reports — if you flag an analysis, we store the reason you selected and any details you add.
- Technical data — basic request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) used to operate and secure the service.
03 How we use your data
- To create and authenticate your account.
- To analyse supplement labels you submit and generate personalised nutritional information.
- To show you your past analyses and account history.
- To respond to reports and improve the quality of AI-generated output.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
04 Third parties we share data with
- OpenAI. We send your supplement label images and a snapshot of your health profile (age, sex, height, weight, medical conditions) to OpenAI's GPT-4o Vision model so it can extract nutrient information and calculate personalised recommended values. Your name and email are not sent to OpenAI. OpenAI is bound by its own terms and data-processing policies.
- Hosting & infrastructure providers. We use service providers to run the backend, store data, and deliver the app.
- Payment processors. If you subscribe to Pro, payment is handled by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat depending on platform; we never see your card number.
05 AI-generated content
Analysis output is produced by a generative AI model and may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is not medical advice. The app is not a medical device. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your supplement or medication regimen. You can report any incorrect or harmful AI output from inside the analysis screen; we review reports and use them to improve the system.
06 Data retention & deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time:
- From inside the app: Profile → Delete Account.
- From the web: nutrition.ai.discretelogix.com/account-deletion
Deleting your account permanently removes your account, health profile, supplement images, analyses, nutrient breakdowns, and reports. Some non-identifying technical logs may be retained for a limited period for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
07 Security
We hash passwords with bcrypt, transmit data over HTTPS, and limit access to user data to authorised personnel. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
08 Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we'll delete it.
09 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, use the in-app or web deletion flow above, or email us at support@discretelogix.com.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date and, when required, communicated inside the app.
